Tanja Hessdörfer has been shaping the digital currency landscape for more than seven years, leading global sales, business development, and strategic advisory in the field of public digital money. As Head of Sales and Business Development for Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) at G+D, she collaborates with central banks worldwide to explore, design, and implement next generation digital currency systems.

Since joining G+D in 2018, Tanja has played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s CBDC initiatives and supporting monetary authorities on their digital transformation journeys. Prior to her work at G+D, she drove the international expansion of a rapidly growing RegTech company, taking on assignments across multiple markets.

Tanja holds a Master’s degree in International Management and Business Administration from the Steinbeis School of International Business and Entrepreneurship. She is passionate about the future of money and the role of digital public infrastructure in building more inclusive and resilient financial systems.
