Lynne is the Deputy Head of the Note Issue Department at the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA). Note Issue Department manages the printing, storage and distribution of banknotes to the community, and works on cash-related policies. A key challenge for the Department is responding to the decline in cash usage over the past decade, which has placed the cash distribution system under significant pressure. The RBA is taking an active role in working with industry and other parts of government to support cash for the foreseeable future.

Prior to her current role, Lynne held various senior positions across Economic Analysis, Economic Research and Financial Markets areas of the RBA. She also worked for two years as a Policy Advisor in the Markets Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
