Dr. Pairote Balun is the Director, Production Office, Note Printing Works, Bank of Thailand (BOT). Pairote has more than 20 years of experience in banknote planning, production, and operations management. He currently oversees the production of Thai banknotes and supporting activities, such as banknote design, platemaking and ink production. His prior experiences at BOT include corporate strategy, risk management and procurement. Pairote earned his doctoral degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (USA) and later completed the Executive MBA program at Sasin School of Management (Thailand).
