Muhammad Anwar Bashori

Mr. Muhammad Anwar Bashori is the Head of the Currency Management Department at Bank Indonesia. He has over 30 years of extensive experience within the central bank, having joined the institution in 1994. He currently oversees the strategic management and circulation of the Indonesian Rupiah. Mr. Anwar Bashori has held several key leadership positions across various core functions at Bank Indonesia. His executive journey is marked by his ability to steer diverse departments toward institutional excellence. Mr. Bashori earned his Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Economics from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, in 1999. Throughout his career, he has participated in various prestigious leadership programs, including the Financial Programming and Policies training at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
