Heimo Ertl is the CEO (Geschäftsführer) of Geldservice Austria (GSA). With extensive experience in financial logistics and strategic management, he leads the market leader for innovative cash handling and logistics solutions in Austria.

Under his leadership, GSA—a joint venture between the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) and major Austrian commercial banks—oversees the nationwide supply, processing, and security of currency. Ertl is a vocal advocate for the preservation of cash culture, recently launching initiatives such as the "Bargeld-Fanshop" to promote the importance of cash in the retail and hospitality sectors. He is recognized as a key opinion leader in Austria's financial and logistics landscape, frequently collaborating with national banking authorities to ensure the efficiency and integrity of the country’s cash cycle.
