Faisal Algosair

Faisal Algosair is the General Director of Currency at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), with more than 12 years of experience at the Bank across economics, monetary policy, cash operations, and currency management. He holds a PhD in Economics. His expertise includes the role of cash in the economy, cash circulation, currency forecasting, and quantitative modeling, alongside practical leadership in currency issuance, banknote quality, and cash logistics. His current work focuses on strengthening the efficiency, resilience, and modernization of the cash cycle in Saudi Arabia, while supporting a balanced and inclusive payments ecosystem.
